A UK size should match exactly to an American size, not EU. e.g. a 4UK which is a 36 and what I ordered should have been a size 6. I got a 6.5 and they are just too big.Laces are adorable and the paint work is good but not sure what the yellow dot with red "C" is all about?!! Did I miss a Dr. Who symbol? Otherwise this a a great purchase just wish I could keep them on my feet!! These shoes have been painted with acrylic paint and have been waterproofed with protective spray, so they should be fairly weather resistant. The sizes shown in the drop down menu are UK sizes, if you need help with a translation from EU, or US shoe sizes then drop me a message - I speak shoe!It#39;ll take me up to 3 weeks to have them ready and then shipped off to you. As all my shoes are hand painted they will slightly vary between pairs but I will do my best to stick to the original shades and design unless otherwise instructed. If I can#39;t find the exact type of shoes shown in the photo I#39;ll replace them with the most similar ones I can find that#39;ll be of equal or better quality. If I have to replace them with shoes that are much different I will message you first to check this is ok. I am available for commissions if what you see here isn#39;t exactly what you are looking for.I can also paint tennis style shoes and baseball style shoes if those are more to your liking. Since reopening our centres, over 35,000 visitors of all ages have been able to enjoy some much needed Covid-secure outdoor learning and fun. Our online courses and resources have supported outdoor learning throughout last 18 months, but now it’s great to welcome real as well as virtual visitors.
My staff have said how good it is to hear children again, see them engage with nature first hand and enable them to make the most of their time with classmates and teachers in beautiful surroundings.
There is no substitute for the real thing, and many will have had enough of learning by being cooped up indoors, staring at a screen. Time spent in our stunning locations with our expert staff helps engage every learner as they connect with nature, teachers and peers.
Despite changes to course content, assessment and exams for 2022, schools are still being encouraged to offer outdoor learning and fieldwork opportunities. We all know the value of learning by first hand experiences that consolidate knowledge and fix it in the memory. Learners are still required to answer fieldwork questions in exams. We encourage you to come to our centres so that they can experience fieldwork first hand, learn by doing and develop knowledge and skills needed for work or further study.
There isn’t a lesson in the school day that can’t be enriched by connecting to nature, or a subject in the curriculum that can’t be enhanced by outdoor learning.
